• Fiberglass Batts have increased in varieties and R-Values while remaining a cost-effective way to insulate.
• Fiberglass Batts provide valuable R-value, that is resistance to heat exchange,
• Fiberglass Batts are not by themselves an effective air barrier.  Even perfectly cut and installed batts still do not control air leakage.
• High quality installation of fiberglass batts can be difficult to achieve.  Even trained professionals will leave voids and compressions.
