Energy Audit

Home Performance with Energy Star Audit - $600 with $150 return to the customer if the Hayes Company performs Improvements in the home.

• Full Analysis of home as specified by the Home Performance with Energy Star Program.
• Diagnosing problems specifically related to health, comfort and energy efficiency 
• Some of the possible recommendations for improvements may include:  air sealing, insulation, ductwork improvement, windows, doors, HVAC improvement, ventilation, etc.
• Complete examination of the home’s shell or envelope, testing of all gas appliances for safety, and an examination of your home’s durability and health issues. Includes:

                      •General Exam 
                      •Blower Door Test/Smoke Pencil
                      •Infrared Camera
                      •Carbon Monoxide Testing 
                      •Gas and Safety Testing
                      •Summary of Findings

• This same format as used by the Home Performance with Energy Star program.
• There are programs available in Missouri to help homeowners offset the cost of this audit. 
• The test will take 4 Hours
• Includes pre-test and post-test to validate the work.
• Includes having your home modeled in computer software.  This allows us to make very accurate predictions on the utility savings improvement that each improvement will have.
• This audit is required in order to satisfy the requirements of the joint program with KCPL and MGE.
