Kansas Energy Efficiency Program

KEEP, a new statewide initiative from the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC), allows homeowners to obtain low interest loans to purchase energy efficient heating systems and make other long-lasting, energy conscious improvements to their home.

KEEP saves homeowners money because KHRC funds half of the home improvement loan amounts up to a maximum of $10,000 at a zero interest rate. (Total loan amounts may be higher as determined by the lender.) This zero interest rate on KHRC funds translates into a lower blended rate which saves money compared to taking out a normal second mortgage loan.
