What determines the effectiveness of an insulation system?
![]() |
1. Air Permeance - Measure of the ability of the insulation to seal the cavity and prevent air movement. Our spray foam is an approved air barrier with an air permeance of near zero. 2. R-Value - Resistance to heat exchange or conduction. R-Values are tested in laboratory conditions and loss of performance due to air leakage is not considered. Our spray foams have excellent R-Value at a minimum of 3.6 per inch. |
3. Fluid Permeance - In most applications, the insulation should allow water to pass through the insulation leaving it undamaged. This allows a leak to be discovered and fixed. Our spray foam accomplishes this measure of vapor permeance.
