Practical Tip of the Month
"Fluorescent bulbs are fantastic. I have them in all of my fixtures and they save me a tremendous amount of power. BUT they are supposed to last thousands of hours. I’ve had people tell me that when they installed them and they immediately “went to light bulb heaven.”
"Here's My Hot Tip: Before you install your light bulb, make sure that the manufacturer’s phone number is on the bulb itself. If not, then check the packaging and write the number on the base of the bulb. This way when the bulb “dies”, you can call the manufacturer for a FREE replacement. You don’t have to worry about remembering when or where you bought it either. I have called numerous manufacturers of most all fluorescent bulbs, and never received any problem getting a replacement. Save yourself money and a trip to the store, with a simple phone call." — This Months TIP Is By Mike O’Connell.
