Tom Hayes – President
Tom Hayes founded Hayes Insulation in 1978. In 2004, when the company grew and added additional products and services, Hayes Insulation became The Hayes Company. Tom has the pleasure of spending each day working with his family, seeing them carry on the tradition of honesty and integrity that the company was founded on.
In his free time, Tom likes to golf, travel and vacation with his family. He is an avid KU basketball fan and enjoys watching Sporting KC Soccer. Tom is thankful to have built a platform where he can positively influence the lives of others.
Zac Hayes – Vice President
Zac believes in giving customers the best service possible. As Vice President of The Hayes Company, he supports the entire Hayes team in their efforts to do the same. Zac began working in the family business part time in 1994 at the age of ten, installing rock wool batts with his older brother Tim. He joined the company full time in 2006.
When Zac is not working, he spends as much time as possible with his wife and five young children. Zac takes great satisfaction in carrying on his family company’s legacy of excellence.
Philip Hayes – Chief Financial Officer
Philip serves as the Chief Financial Officer for The Hayes Company. He joined the company in 2010 and has served in a variety of roles. Each day Philip works together with team members to improve business systems to continually provide better products and excellent customer service. He also enjoys the opportunity to work alongside his family.
Philip enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. He also enjoys traveling, watching Sporting Kansas City and playing Mario Kart.
Pete Hayes – Branch Manager, Nashville
Pete Hayes officially joined The Hayes Company in 2017. Prior to joining the company and launching the Nashville branch, Pete worked in the automotive industry. Growing up he spent most summers working for his father’s insulation company. Pete joined The Hayes Company because of his belief in continuing and strengthening the legacy of his father’s company. Working with his family is not a bad thing either – Pete enjoys the opportunity to work with his brothers.
Pete’s favorite part of the job is the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with The Hayes Company employees and builder customers. His free time consists of spending time with his kids and enjoying a book when time allows.
Kevin Adams – East Territory Project Director, Hearth Buyer
Kevin Adams has been part of The Hayes Company team since 1986. Kevin is responsible for insulation and fireplace projects in our east territory and purchasing for our fireplace division. Kevin loves meeting onsite with customers to see firsthand how The Hayes Company services can help a customer save money on energy bills and increase their home’s comfort. Kevin spends his free time attending motorsports events.
Chad Chase – Senior Insulation Specialist
Chad works with both insulation and fireplace customers. He enjoys solving the unique challenges that come his way each day.
Chad has been part of The Hayes Company team since 2016. He loves fishing and spending time attending his children’s activities.
Jeff Classen – Home Energy and Sales Consultant/Energy Auditor
Since 2007, Jeff has been serving customers of The Hayes Company with home energy services including performing energy audits. Jeff’s favorite part of his job is solving complex problems such as high humidity levels, condensation, indoor air quality and more. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, building furniture, keeping up on energy trends and directing music at his church.
Jeremy Dillon – Insulation Division Manager
Since joining The Hayes Company in 2006, Jeremy has served in a variety of roles. He currently services as Insulation Division Manager at our Kansas City location. In addition to working with our crews and customers, one of his favorite parts of The Hayes Company is the fun work environment. In his free time, Jeremy can be found participating in a variety of sports including his favorite sport, softball.
Brandy Eckert – Office Administrator and Accounting Assistant
Brandy joined the company in 2018. In addition to her daily tasks, Brandy loves the fun work environment at The Hayes Company. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her kids and family and doing outdoor activities.
Marvin Feldman – Glass Division Manager
Marvin has been with The Hayes Company since 2003. He works with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions to their problems. Marvin enjoys spending his free time working as a baseball umpire.
Jason Harris – Mirror and Shower Door Sales/Installation
Jason has been helping The Hayes Company customers since 2004. He enjoys all aspects of working with customers. From the sale of a job to the installation, he loves helping homeowners’ dream bathrooms come together.
Jason enjoys many hobbies. You can find him coaching Club Soccer, spending time with his wife and three kids, playing disc golf or spending time with friends.
Adam Lynch – Home Energy Consultant
Since 2003 Adam has been helping homeowners and families in the Kansas City area dramatically improve the comfort level inside their home. Adam loves customizing practical, affordable plans to help reduce energy costs, save money and make homes more comfortable.
When not consulting with future clients, Adam enjoys spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. He is an animal lover with a soft spot for dogs. He is a hospice volunteer and organizes his community’s Red Kettle Campaign for the Salvation Army.
Gordan Moffitt – Senior Sales Supervisor
Since 1990 Gordan has worked with a variety of customers to help meet insulation, energy and other home needs. When he is not busy helping customers, you can find Gordan on the golf course, enjoying sports, working out or involved in church activities.
Mike O’Connell – Home Energy Consultant
Mike is a former Marine who first got his start in the insulation and weatherization business over 40 years ago. For many years, Mike successfully ran his own company, The Insulation Professional, before a successful merger with The Hayes Company.
Mike has a passion for sharing with others the benefits of home comfort and energy efficiency. Mike has been frequently featured on the Toby Tobin radio show where he gives tips to homeowners on how to make easy energy improvements to their home on their own. Mike is certified with NARI as a Master Certified Remodeler Specialist (MCRS) (the only one in the US!) as well as a Green Certified Professional (GCP).
When not consulting with future clients, Mike loves spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also can be found frequently holding the babies in the nursery at his church or volunteering at other local charities.
Dan Shandy – Division Manager/Energy Consultant
Dan joined the Hayes team in 2011. With his many daily responsibilities, he most enjoys the variety of energy challenges he finds in customer homes. Dan feels that there is never a dull moment in his work and he enjoys working with customers to help increase their comfort and reduce energy expenses. When he is not helping customers, Dan enjoys woodworking and doing home repairs.
Hope Sneed – Office Administrator
Hope joined the Hayes team in early 2019 as Office Administrator. Hope is responsible for accounts receivable and enjoys learning more about our customers and business. In her free time she enjoys fishing, being at the lake and horseback riding. During the summer months she spends most of her free time outdoors.
Bob Tidd – Mirror and Shower Door Consultant
Bob has been a member of The Hayes Company team since 2004. He brings to his customers 40 years of industry experience, helping them achieve the best possible outcome for their project. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He has a passion for antique aircrafts, loves participating in weekend car cruises and enjoys attending car shows.
